position overview

Under the supervision of the senior designer and the production manager, you will be responsible for producing detailed shop drawings and preparing the technical documents required for the fabrication of millwork components.

main responsabilities

  • Produce detailed shop drawings (plans, elevations, sections, assemblies) based on client concepts and specifications.

  • Model components in 2D/3D using Microvellum, AutoCAD, and SketchUp (or equivalent software such as Revit).

  • Generate and update material lists (BOM) and parts lists.

  • Collaborate closely with the production team to validate technical feasibility and optimize workflows.

  • Manage drawing revisions according to design changes and production constraints.

  • Participate in project coordination meetings with designers, suppliers, and workshop staff.

  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and project deadlines.

rquired profile

  • Diploma in interior design, interior architecture, or a related field.

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in a millwork shop, carpentry, or furniture production environment.

  • Excellent command of AutoCAD; knowledge of SketchUp, Microvellum, or Revit is an asset.

  • Good understanding of materials (solid wood, MDF, veneer, melamine, hardware).

  • Strong attention to detail, rigor, and solid organizational skills.

  • Team spirit, strong communication skills, and customer-service mindset.

  • Functional English (asset).

  • Valid driver’s licence and ability to travel to our Boucherville workshop.

position overview

We are looking for a passionate and meticulous cabinetmaker to join our production team. You will contribute to the creation of custom projects, from material preparation to final assembly and finishing, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship at every stage.

main responsabilities

  • Read and interpret technical plans and shop drawings

  • Cut, assemble, and build furniture and millwork components (cabinet boxes, doors, drawers)

  • Apply veneers, glues, and perform wood or MDF veneer layup

  • Machine parts according to specifications (saws, CNC, planer, jointer, router, etc.)

  • Perform sanding, preparation, and application of finishes (lacquer, varnish, oil)

  • Conduct quality control of all components and final assemblies

  • Maintain equipment and contribute to a clean, safe workshop environment

  • Collaborate with the shop manager to optimize workflow and production methods

rquired profile

  • DEP or AEP in cabinetmaking, interior carpentry, or equivalent training

  • Minimum 1 to 3 years of experience in fine woodworking or architectural millwork

  • Strong proficiency with tools, traditional techniques, and CNC equipment

  • Exceptional attention to detail, rigor, and commitment to quality

  • Ability to work as part of a team and meet deadlines

  • Strong organizational skills, autonomy, and initiative

  • Functional knowledge of French or English in the workplace (asset).
