In this room, we wanted to create unconventional yet refined storage spaces that could easily store objects as well as bring them into focus. The solid oak hutches are assembled at a 45-degree angle using dowels and have an oil finish. The kitchen table and benches are made of solid walnut in a shade that pleasantly contrasts with the yellow birch flooring and the hutches in the living room.

Warmth, lightness and clean lines define this serene, contemporary space.
